****note – all our experiences with Marchosias point to her being female, though many of the old texts write she is a male, there is also reference to her taking the form of a she wolf. She has always appeared female to us and from our experience her essence is female. We also write how we view them, and do not necessarily see them as others interpretations.”
Quotes… Original Text from the Ars Goetia:
“The Thirty-fifth Spirit is Marchosias. He is a Great and Mighty Marquis, appearing at first in the Form of a Wolf having Gryphon’s Wings, and a Serpent’s Tail, and Vomiting Fire out of his mouth. But after a time, at the command of the Exorcist he putteth on the Shape of a Man. And he is a strong fighter. He was of the Order of Dominations. He governeth 30 Legions of Spirits. He told his Chief, who was Solomon, that after 1,200 years he had hopes to return unto the Seventh Throne. And his Seal is this, to be made and worn as a Lamen, etc.”
From Tikaboo
He is a Great and Mighty Marquis, appearing at first in the Form of a Wolf18 having Gryphon’s Wings, and a Serpent’s Tail, and Vomiting Fire out of his mouth.
From the Luciferian Goetia by Michael Ford
“Marchosias is a mighty marquis who appears in the form of a wolf having wings with a serpent’s tail, as this spirit appears it vomits flames. Marchosias is a werewolf daemon – having been bound to the earth, has taken forth and absorbed the shades of the wolf – thus upon request Marchosias will take upon a human form. Marchosias is a fallen angel who is a strong fighter – who was of the Order of Dominions. He governs 30 Legions of Spirits, when summoned by Solomon, he told after 1,200 years he had hopes to return to the Seventh Throne. Marchosias teaches and initiates through lycanthropy and astral shape shifting, as well as war and combat techniques.”
From the Daemonolatry Goetia by S. Connolly
Marchosias is a demon that’s all about strength. Both inner and outer, he teaches one to use their innate power to help themselves. Work with Marchosias if you need a healthy dose of power and motivation in your life! His name is also sometimes spelled Marchocias.

I’ve seen her listed as a day demon. Is she/he one of the rare demons that can be invoked day or night?
Honestly, I have been able to connect with her during the night and the day, From my experience she can be invoked during either.
Hey there!!
I’ve had an usuall dream of this name, I refuse to say it out loud until I know more. Could anyone who is familiar with this… being, want to talk to more more about her/him?
Thanks!
Can anyone help me with any invocations or rituals? I want to learn how I can connect with her better and work with her. It’s harder to find information if her compared to the other Spirits.
We have a discussion post on Marchosias here.. http://satanandsuns.com/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=3454 . Our forum also talks about different ways to approach and work with demons, you are very welcome to join 🙂
I am intrigued and drawn to Marchosias. I have an inner excitement when I see her name and sigil. Although I am merely a beginner in this, I would like to know the proper and most honorable and respectful way to make contact with her. I believe I can handle it from there on instinct alone. I’m very serious about this and would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Thank you and blessings to you.
I would recommend S.Connolly’s books she outlines wonderful ways to connect and work with the Dark lords and Ladies, “The Complete Book of Demonolatry” is a great place to start!
There’s something that needs to be explained to you all. You see, before Eve ( or Lillith just before her ), there was “female” didn’t exist. …. at least not the way we know it now. Yes, the angels can reproduce. The males are extremely powerful dominant and strong. The females, however, are ALSO tough, tall and strong. No, not “she-males” like you’re probably thinking. They are indeed female. But they aren’t “feminine”, like HUMAN women. Before mankind, God had never created anything “feminine” before. Female angels were somewhat lesser in stature ( slightly smaller ) but still not feminine. The male angels obviously found human women very attractive because they were fair, feminine and sexy in ways that the angelic “child-bearers” were NOT. So they came down to earth and took for themselves “wives.” Resultingly, those wives ended up giving birth to the giants. If Marchosias is female, she isn’t “female” at all in the feminine sense. She isn’t at all woman-like or “girl-ish.” She would be more “HE-like!!!” Again, the entire concept of a high voiced feminine “girl” hadn’t even been thought of back when the demons were created. They did ( and probably still do ) have “child bearers”, but they were not at all like “women.” And there is a paranormal investigative team who has ( unfortunately) had to DEAL with this demon, and they can testify that there ain’t NOTHIN’ “female” about Marchocias!!! He may have once BEEN an angelic “child-bearer”, but that’s about it. He may be able to “masquerade” as a sexy female, but again, that’s about it. And if so, it’s almost completely FALSE. Sorry.
And their entire goal is to take as many souls to hell with them as they possibly CAN in the short time they have left to accomplish that mission!!!
These evil beings ain’t no human being’s friends!!! They’re just trying to take you down WITH THEM!!!
But what do “ I “ know?!?! I’m just a simple-minded man of God!!! You just go on and keep havin’ fun with you’re naughty little demon friends!!!
P.S. “YOU’LL BE SORRY!!!”
You might want to try inspiration over threatening others. Saying “You’ll be sorry”, and speaking down to me is not the way to engage in a conversation, or have others be receptive to what you have to say. Nothing you have said here resonates with my work or with my experiences with the spiritual world. This is your experience, not mine.
Marchosias appeared to me in a dream, prior to a very emotionally challenging conflict I experienced. She arise out of deep water in the form of a huge she-wolf. We stood facing one-another with a large “window” between us. There was nothing fearful in this dream. Later, in “real”-time, I was able to confront and resolve a long-standing relational issue. All of this has occurred during transits of Mars and Pluto to my natal Sun, Moon, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. I didn’t actually evoke Marchosias until after she appeared in my dream…..her arrival coincides with an increase in strength and confidence, and the ability to deal with adversarial conflict effectively.
I am fasinated by this demon. I recognized it on a label. Marchosias is on the Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey bottle. The label is double-sided. Full color on the front and shown through the bottle in black and white. “Tastes like Heaven. Burns like Hell” is the Slogan. My Wonder to see this.
As a bartender and practitioner I have some questions about the choice of advertising. Exploitation and desensitization…God Bless America!! Lol. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing what you think about this.
I feel so drawn to her, i look at her sigil and her name and i feel my vibrations raise (if thats how i would describe it.. its hard to put into to words!) and i feel just overall, so pulled to her!
In a series of waking happenings a few months ago I was shown a wolf like person/angel who stood on two feet and had the head of a wolf, she (has female plumbing) has hands so I do not believe she is Marchosias, however, she has the other half of my heart (in one vision/happening my heart was touched to hers and they beat in unison, that morning I was made a completed human man, my bride half wolf and half human)
Because Marchosias is the mother of werewolves and my other half looks like a werewolf, it’s possible she is Marchosias’ daughter. I call her Asrael, which is an alias for my wife, as it was told to me, because I am unlearned, I won’t know her actual name until later. (I would accidentally summon her otherwise)
Asrael as I understand her is in the first layer of hell and was angry at me, as I failed her in heaven as her (human) husband. Now, I must submit to these realms and be taught in this temporary life how to act in the next, as to not rob any creation of their majesty and love that’s due them, plus other lessons as well.
Hail Marchosias!
Since beginning my work with her I have made great strides towards my goals. I vowed to work hard, be disciplined, and honor her through my actions. The pact I made with her was a general one in which all I offered in return for her help was public praise. She delivered and keeps on delivering every day so here I am singing her praises!
